Privacy Policy

Foldcard collects nothing, sends nothing and stores nothing outside your device. This page is short because there is very little to say.

What we collect

Our App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected, and it is accurate rather than optimistic.

What stays on your device

Your decks, notes, cards, scheduling history, imported media and settings are stored in the app's own container on your iPhone. They are included in your device backup if you have one, under Apple's terms, and they are removed when you delete the app.

Files you import

When you import an Anki package, Foldcard reads it on the device and copies its contents into its own storage. The file is never uploaded. Foldcard only ever opens a file you chose yourself in the system file picker, or one you sent to it from another app.

Purchases

The "Unlimited Decks" purchase is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Apple tells the app whether the purchase exists; we never see your name, your payment details or your Apple Account. We receive no personal information from Apple about you, and we keep no purchase records of our own.

Children

Foldcard is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children. It is not submitted to the Kids Category, and it contains no advertising, no external links inside the study flow and no user-generated content from other people.

Support email

If you email support@officeball.ai, we obviously receive your message and your email address, and we use them only to answer you. We do not add you to anything. Those messages are kept no longer than needed to resolve the issue.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. A change that meant Foldcard started collecting something would also mean a new app version, and it would say so in its release notes.
